Hi. I have a little penguin like the one above. Marked on the bottom with ‘england’. Guessing this is not an original?! What are original Walter Bosse’s marked with?

I have inherited a Walter Bosse dancing bear that says Berlin on it. Would you happen to know its value.? It has an interesting story behind it because it belonged to a gentle who was in a concentration camp in Germany. He survived and became a professor at Penn State. I believe the dancing bear is fom 1950s so he may have required it on a return visit to Germany. Thank you for your time and would appreciate any info you could share. Sincerely Diane

Hi there.
I have bought a couple of Walter Bosse- looking african children, but they are stamped Illums Bolighus, which was -and still is- the most fancy department store in denmark. But WHERE were they made? Are they copies of the Hagenauer ones or what?
